About White Paper TABS
Waferseals.com uses a dull non-gloss data processing white paper label stock to make our White Paper Tabs. There are many 2nd choice label stocks that are a lot less expensive but for consistency and reliability we have found this label stock to be the best for tabbing applications. Waferseals.com has eliminated the most common problems associated with tab application. We use a 2.9 mil Paper, which is ideal for fast tab application. We also avoid fracturing the liner when die cutting to eliminate web breaks when tabbing. For more information about the quality of Waferseals.com tabs see our quality assurance page and warranty.
White Paper tabs are the least expensive type of tabs available, they are commonly used on white mail or low profile mailing projects. When mailing multi color or fancier work we recommend clear or transparent paper tabs. White Paper Tabs are very noticeable on a mailing piece that is colorful.
For ease of opening, and to prevent the recipient from tearing the mail use a perforated tab. The selection of vertical or horizontal perforation is determined by the type of tabbing machines and the direction that the mailing piece is fed relative to the dispensing direction of the tab.
Below are the specifications and illustrations which will help you select the correct White Paper Tab for your application. If you have special requirements please call 800-274-6271.
